Our clients have included Ignatius Press, Crux Catholic Media, the Diocese of Brooklyn, The Leo House of New York City, Ave Maria Press,  University of Dallas, Notre Dame University, Our Lady of Victory School and many other organizations in the US, UK, Europe and Canada who have trusted us with their digital advertising needs. We have unique direct and indirect ad partnerships in place with the Catholic media outlets where we place advertising on behalf of our clients. Our team is fully remove and based in Florida, Texas, New York and the Philippines.


Responsibilities:

 

We are seeking a part-time Advertising Sales Consultant to help our ad sales clients to advertise more effectively through the digital media outlets we represent and through social media sites like Facebook and Twitter. You will be assisting VMR's director of digital ad sales in pitching these solutions, via email, phone and zoom/Google Meet conference calls, to new and existing clients. You will also be working with each advertising client's marketing team to understand the client's needs and ensure the ad options you propose (a list of which will be provided to you) are aligned to the client's marketing objectives.


 

Qualifications:

 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required
  • 1-3 years of experience in sales (media sales, preferred, but not required)
  • A track record of surpassing sales goals
  • Ability to multi-task and thrive in a fast-paced, family-friendly, collaborative, work-from-home environment
  • Self-motivated with strong work ethic
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Fluency in English

 

To help you accomplish your objectives, you will be provided with: 

 


  • administrative and sales support colleagues to help keep you focused on sales and client services
  • a list of organizations (primarily in the US) to contact but will sometimes need to research the best contact and contact information for prospects 
  • sales collateral
  • access to a Dialpad webinar account to pitch using slides
  • DialPad business phone app for your smartphone to receive work calls via this DialPad app rather than through your personal phone #
  • training related to the digital advertising products and services we offer and how to sell them

 


Time commitment:

This position will initially involve approximately 5-10 hours per week during US business hours. This will increase over time depending on your ability to meet activity and sales goals and your interest in increasing your hours.

Compensation:

$25 per hour plus bonus
